COMAC president Shen Bo said the homegrown C919 trunk jet has carried over 8.4 million passengers and connected 27 cities since its 2023 commercial debut, and completed its first scheduled international commercial flight this August. Its sibling regional jet C909 has transported more than 41 million passengers since 2016. Domestic aircraft are gaining a bigger market share and fueling high-quality development of China's civil aviation industry.
