China and Vietnam jointly released massive aquatic fries into the Beibu Gulf to restore marine fishery resources and boost sustainable fishing industry. Since 2017, the two sides have carried out multiple similar activities, effectively raising local fish output and fishermen’s income.

Bilateral fishery cooperation including joint stocking and marine patrols has well protected regional marine ecology and maintained maritime order. China plans to further deepen fishery collaboration with Vietnam, as well as launch similar resource restoration programs with South Korea and Russia this year.
