Chinese naval hospital ship Auspicious Ark has finished its seven-day friendly visit to Mauritania, the first stop of Mission Harmony-2026. A baby nicknamed the "Auspicious Baby" was born aboard the vessel. The ship provided massive outpatient services, community medical support, technical training and TCM therapies well-received by locals. Joint work with China's on-site medical team improved treatment efficiency. The mission deepens medical cooperation and friendship between China and Mauritania.
