China and Indonesia launched a capture fisheries cooperation program in Tual of Indonesia's Maluku Province on Thursday. Over 100 representatives from both sides attended the ceremony. Aligning with key maritime strategies of the two nations, the program aims to deepen collaboration in fisheries technology, resource conservation and the whole industrial chain. It is expected to generate around 1,100 jobs, upgrade cold-chain storage and fish processing, and drive related investment to benefit local marine-relying communities.
