A groundbreaking ceremony for the China-Mongolia heads-of-state sports center project was held in Ulan Bator, Mongolia's capital, on Thursday.

The project is a grant-aid initiative funded by the Chinese government to support Mongolia's economic and social development.

Covering 30,000 square meters and with a gross floor area of 58,247 square meters, the sports center mainly consists of indoor sports facilities, public service buildings, and parking areas.

It is expected to contribute to the development of sports in Mongolia, help young people realize their potential, and create favorable conditions for people of all ages to exercise regularly and adopt healthy lifestyles.
