As the 9th China International Import Expo draws near, African enterprises are actively preparing exhibits to explore the Chinese market. Benefiting from China's zero-tariff treatment covering 53 diplomatic African countries effective May 1, these firms aim to sell local specialties such as honey, coffee and cocoa. Beyond exporting raw goods, they hope to move up the value chain via deep processing and brand building. The expo serves as a vital platform for Africa to expand trade and boost mutually beneficial cooperation with China.
